City Peaks
City Peaks is an R&D project that uses NFC technology to encourage employees at Digit to use the stairs instead of using the lift.
Players swipe their oyster card at the bottom and top of the stairs on touch pads to record how far and fast they climb. Players then race each other up the stairs, which is graphically represented as iconic buildings of London. They can also track their overall height climbed against the real height of mountains with the ultimate goal being Mount Everest.
